Mr Allen is an Associate Member of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) and holds a Diploma in Pollution Control, the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health, CIEH Professional Trainers Certificate, and other IOSH and CIEH qualifications.

Mr Allen is City and Guilds 2377-20 and 2377-10 qualified to carry out portable appliance inspection and testing, and holds the City and Guilds 2382-10 (17th Edition Wiring Regulations), 2392-10 Certificate in Fundamental Inspection, Testing & Initial Verification of Electrical Installations and City and Guilds 2330-301.
